Privacy Policy
SaaSquatch Lab (SaaSquatch Lab LLC) · Effective September 7, 2026
The short version. We do not sell your data, we do not run ad trackers, and we do not share your information with data brokers. Most of our apps collect nothing at all — they have no servers and make no network requests. The two apps that do need an account collect only what the product cannot work without.
This policy explains what each SaaSquatch Lab app collects, why, and what you can do about it. It applies to every app and website we operate, listed below. Where an app has its own more specific policy, that policy is linked and controls for that app.
What each app collects
| App | Data collected | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Squatch Lift | None | No servers, no network access. All workout data stays on your device. |
| SizeSquatch | None | Photos are processed entirely on-device. Full policy |
| Squatch Travel | None | Offline-first; trip data stays on your device. Full policy |
| Squatch Connect | Minimal | No account. Payment handled by Stripe. Full policy |
| Sasquatch Social | Account | A social network — requires an account and stores what you post. |
| App Tracker | Account | Stores the job applications and documents you create. |
Apps that collect nothing
These apps have no backend of our own, no analytics SDK, no advertising SDK, and no third party trackers. They do not transmit your content anywhere.
Squatch Lift
Squatch Lift is an on-device workout tracker. Your workouts, exercise history, personal records, body measurements, supplement log, and any selfie you attach to a share card are stored locally on your device using Apple's on-device database and never leave it. We operate no server for this app and receive none of this information. Uninstalling the app deletes this data from your device.
Squatch Lift offers an optional auto‑renewing subscription (Squatch Lift Pro). Purchases are processed entirely by Apple — we never see your payment details. See Purchases and subscriptions and our Terms of Use.
SizeSquatch
SizeSquatch resizes and crops photos entirely on your device. It uses the system photo picker, so it can only ever access the specific photos you select — never your whole library. Exported images go only where you send them. The app makes no network connections of its own. See the SizeSquatch privacy policy for detail.
Squatch Travel
Squatch Travel is built to work with no connectivity. Your itinerary, reservations, phrasebooks, and destination guides are downloaded and then stored on your device. Your travel plans are not uploaded to us. See the Squatch Travel privacy policy.
Apps that collect the minimum
Squatch Connect
Squatch Connect sells travel eSIM data plans. There is no user account. To deliver a plan we process the destination and plan you choose and an email address for your receipt and eSIM details. Payment is handled by Stripe, our payment processor — we never receive or store your card number. Our connectivity partner provisions the eSIM profile itself. We do not collect your passport, identity documents, location history, or browsing activity. See the Squatch Connect privacy policy.
Sasquatch Social
Sasquatch Social is a social network, so it necessarily stores what you choose to publish. We collect:
- Account information — your email address and password (stored hashed), display name, and profile details you add.
- Content you create — posts, comments, messages, listings, poll votes, events, and uploaded media.
- Social graph — who you follow, block, or mute.
- Identity verification — if you choose to verify your identity, our verification provider (Didit, or Stripe Identity as a fallback) processes your government ID and returns only a pass/fail result and your verified legal name. We never receive or store images of your ID. Verification is handled under that provider's own privacy policy.
- Operational logs — minimal server logs needed to keep the service running and to investigate abuse.
We do not build advertising profiles, we do not run third‑party ad trackers in the app, and we do not sell or rent your information. Dating features are off unless you turn them on.
App Tracker
App Tracker stores the job applications, resumes, cover letters, and notes you create so they sync across your devices. When you use an AI writing feature, the text you submit is sent to our AI provider to generate the requested document. That content is not used to train third‑party models. We do not share your job search with employers, recruiters, or anyone else.
Purchases and subscriptions
All in‑app purchases and subscriptions are processed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play). We never receive your payment card details. We receive only the confirmation that a purchase or subscription is valid. Web purchases (Squatch Connect) are processed by Stripe under Stripe's privacy policy. Subscriptions are managed and cancelled in your App Store or Google Play account settings, not by us.
What we never do
- We never sell, rent, or trade your personal information.
- We never share your information with data brokers.
- We do not embed third‑party advertising SDKs or cross‑app tracking SDKs in our apps.
- We do not use your content to build advertising profiles.
- We do not request tracking permission, because we do not track you across other companies' apps and websites.
How long we keep things
On‑device data lives on your device until you delete it or uninstall the app; we have no copy. For account‑based apps, we keep your content while your account is open and delete it within 30 days of account deletion, except where we must retain records to comply with law or to resolve a dispute. Operational logs are kept on a short rolling schedule and then discarded.
Your rights
Wherever you live, you may ask us to give you a copy of your data, correct it, or delete it. If you are in the EU/EEA or UK, you additionally have rights to restrict or object to processing and to data portability under the GDPR. If you are a California resident, you have the rights to know, delete, correct, and opt out of sale or sharing under the CCPA/CPRA — and we can tell you plainly that we do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined. We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights.
To make a request, email hello@saasquatchlab.com. Sasquatch Social users can also use the in‑app data rights tools at sasquatchsocial.com/privacy/data-rights. For apps that store nothing off your device, there is nothing for us to return or delete — deleting the app removes the data.
Children
Our apps are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Security
Data in transit is encrypted with TLS. Account data is held in access‑controlled managed infrastructure with row‑level authorization, and passwords are stored hashed. No system is perfect, but the most reliable protection we offer is structural: most of our apps never collect your data in the first place.
Where data is processed
SaaSquatch Lab LLC operates in the United States, and account data for our server‑backed apps is processed there. If you use our apps from outside the United States, you understand that your information is processed in the United States.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy we will update the effective date above, and for material changes we will give notice in the affected app. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated policy.
