SizeSquatch Privacy Policy

What we collect

Nothing. SizeSquatch has no servers, no user accounts, no analytics, no advertising, and no third-party SDKs. On iPhone and iPad the app makes no network connections of its own. The Android build additionally includes Google’s billing library, which needs network access to check and complete the one-time unlock — no photo, video, or personal data is sent with it.

Your photos and videos

All resizing, cropping, grid building, file encoding, and video encoding happen locally on your device — using Apple's on-device frameworks on iPhone and iPad, and Android's on-device media frameworks on Android. There is no cloud render step: a video you crop in SizeSquatch is decoded and re-encoded by your own phone's hardware. SizeSquatch uses the system photo picker, which means the app can only ever access the specific photos and videos you choose — never your whole library. Exported files are saved only where you send them: your photo library or the share destination you pick.

Purchases

The optional "Unlock Everything" purchase is processed by Apple through the App Store on iPhone and iPad, and by Google through Google Play on Android. We never see your payment details on either platform — Apple and Google each provide us with anonymous, aggregate sales reports only. Refunds are handled by the store you bought from: Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com, Google Play through Google Play's order history.

Settings

Your preferences (default size, format, quality, remaining free exports) are stored on your device only and are removed if you delete the app.

Children

SizeSquatch does not collect data from anyone, including children.

Changes

If this policy ever changes, we'll update this page and the effective date above. Because the app collects nothing, we expect it to stay boring.
