The catalogue

Seven products,
one refusal

Every one is built on the same refusal to monetise you. What differs is only how much data the product genuinely needs to function — and for most of them, the honest answer is none at all.

Sasquatch Polling
Polling platform
Coming soon
  • Not yet in use
  • Waiting on Sasquatch Social scale

A transparent polling platform for media organisations, campaigns, and civic groups — live results, demographic breakdowns, embeddable widgets, and a published methodology. It is deliberately on hold: credible polling needs a real respondent base, so Polling launches once Sasquatch Social has the community to support it.

How we build

Principles,
not platitudes

Constraints we hold ourselves to when it costs us something, which is the only time a principle counts.

01
Private by default
No ad SDKs, no cross-app tracking, no data brokers. Four of our seven products collect nothing at all, because they have no servers to collect it to. That is a structural promise, not a policy one.
02
Easy on purpose
Privacy software has a reputation for being a chore. Ours is not. If a privacy guarantee costs you three extra taps, we treat that as a design bug and fix it.
03
Transparent by default
Pricing, data practices, and limitations written in plain language — including the parts that are inconvenient for us. If we cannot defend a decision to your face, we do not ship it.
04
No dark patterns
No manufactured urgency, no buried cancellation, no design that works against you. Cancelling is as easy as subscribing, because it happens in your own app store settings.
05
Built to last
Self-funded and answerable to the people using the software rather than to investors, which is the only reason we can afford to plan in years instead of quarters.

About

Independent software,
long-term thinking

SaaSquatch Lab is an independent software company in the Pacific Northwest, building tools for communities, travellers, job seekers, and people who lift heavy things — without a surveillance business model underneath. Every product is self-funded, which is the whole reason we can build this way.
